I'm a 4th generation Floridian, and have been an artist all my life and an Underwater Photographer for over a decade. My photographs have won many awards and have been sold worldwide. My work has graced the walls of the Coral Reef Gallery of the Florida Aquarium for over eight years.

I capture nature in all modes of my artwork: photography, painting, glass, and sculpture. I enjoy experimenting in all kinds of mediums and hope to master them all. I also teach creative photography, and art classes, and freelance for several local papers and magazines. In nature’s classroom…I am a perpetual, humble student.

In the Fall of 2007, I began welding my Industrial Art to refocus my mind off my father's illness. I recreated my sorrow as beautiful sea turtles, mermaids and manatees...etc. Since, my metal sculptures have become very popular, and are being shown in several fine local galleries.

I was given a true love and appreciation for nature by my parents, Ray and Shirley. I’m inspired by my loving, dread-head, eclectic sister, RhondaK and her incredible Folk-Road Art (RhondaKwrites.com), and enjoy watching her fame soar in the Sarasota/Bradenton areas. Thanks also to my loving Aunt Nancy's support and for giving me faith in God and myself.

My father passed away early in November, but his love of nature, love of life, and his artistic brilliance...will forever shine on in me.

I miss you, daddy.
